S&J respects your privacy. This notice explains how we process personal data when you visit our website, contact us, appear on CCTV or request a physical-banknote exchange. S&J acts as the data controller for the processing described here.
1. Personal data we may collect
- Identity data, including name, nationality, date of birth, signature and identification-document details.
- Contact information, occupation, transaction purpose, currency, amount, rate, receipt and payment information.
- Information about source of funds, beneficial ownership or representation where required for due diligence.
- CCTV images, security records, communications, complaint records and website technical logs.
2. Why we process data
- Provide and document the requested exchange service.
- Verify identity, authenticate banknotes, prevent fraud and protect customers, staff and premises.
- Meet AML/CFT, sanctions, tax, accounting, regulatory and law-enforcement obligations.
- Answer enquiries, manage complaints, maintain security and improve our service.
3. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, comply with a legal obligation, protect vital interests, pursue legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, establish or defend legal claims, or rely on consent where legally required.
4. Sharing and international transfers
We may share data with competent authorities, professional advisers, auditors, technology or security providers and other processors where necessary and lawful. If data is transferred outside Thailand, we apply the safeguards required by applicable law.
5. Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the stated purpose, applicable retention law, regulatory requirements or legal claims. We use proportionate organizational and technical controls, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Subject to legal conditions and exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Some data cannot be deleted while a legal retention or reporting duty applies.
7. Website and third parties
The website may process essential technical information needed to deliver and secure pages. Google Maps, social networks, messaging services and other linked providers process data under their own privacy notices when you use them.
If you choose Allow in Privacy choices, we use OpenAI advertising measurement to share page visits and clicks on our WhatsApp, LINE, phone and email links with OpenAI. A contact click does not confirm an enquiry or a completed exchange. The Pixel uses an ad-click identifier cookie (__oppref, up to 30 days) and a browser identifier cookie (__obref, up to 365 days). We remember your consent choice for 180 days. You can decline or withdraw through Privacy choices at the bottom of any page; withdrawal stops future measurement and removes these measurement cookies. This integration does not send cash amounts, identity documents or the contents of your messages.
8. Privacy contact and complaints
Send a privacy request to info@snjse.com or visit the counter with suitable identification. You may also complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee where the matter falls within its authority.
